With Rotor flex the cutting head is always in the driver's natural field of vision. Rotor Flex has a double pivot joint which enables you to move the cutting head forward, so it is in the drivers field of vision. The cutting head can also be moved behind the vehicle which is useful for verge mowing on small roads with oncoming traffic. This option adds 6,000 dollars to the unit price but will more than double the productivity of the saw while the operator has it in the air cutting branches and topping trees.

The small size of the boom mower makes it suitable for areas with limited space, such as verge mowing on bike paths or hedge trimming in residential areas. It is also possible to trim trees on narrow tracks in forests or maintain hedgerows on agricultural fields.

The Scorpion 430 PLUS - Basic Front boom mower is designed for loaders with a weight of at least  (8500 lbs). Instead of the traditional three-point mounting, the Scorpion models have four mounting points on the mainframe. It is a much faster and reliable mounting system.
